Whether it’s roar of a jet engine, the buzz of a piston, or the deep flutter of a rotor, I still can’t resist looking up to see what’s flying overhead.
My career has been a non-traditional journey starting in the US Navy as a mechanic working on F-14 Tomcats, then transitioning to the corporate world serving in various roles as a business systems analyst, database developer, project manager, and product development manager.
I’ve grown professionally with each new role though memorable experiences that helped me hone core skills such as goal setting, time management, project management, multi-tasking, decision-making, and patience. What I enjoyed most was meeting great people, working on high performing teams, and constantly learning new things.
At the end of 2019, I decided to change careers and pursue my life-long dream of becoming a commercial pilot and flight instructor. I completed my training in January earning my flight instructor and multi-engine instructor certificates and instrument ratings.
I enjoy learning new things, sharing my knowledge and experiences and excited to help train the next generation of accomplished aviators in a fun and safe environment for many years to come.
You are unique, therefore, I believe it’s very important to learn about you individually and tailor lessons to fit your learning style so you can progress effectively.
Live your best life and don’t put off your dreams!
